one of those days...

It's been a rough day. First of all, it's a Tuesday, which means I have 3 classes. Two during the lunch hour, which means I can't eat at the DH (which isn't all together a bad thing). Add on an intermittent internet connection, online homework website not wanting to load, and a paper that just doesn't sound right and you have a rough day. Around six o'clock, I realized that it wasn't going anywhere and I was just getting frustrated. So, I decided I needed frozen yogurt. And since I really really wanted the brownie bits and cookie dough chunks, I decided a trip to the frozen yogurt shop was long overdue. It was totally worth the splurge. I now feel happier. :)
Add in a little Francis Chan and Kristian Stanfill...and my day got a little better (thank you Passion All Access Pass!). I think I'm going to listen to a little Ben Stuart and call it a night.

Throughout this rough day, I've been repeating the chorus to a certain song in my head. I thought I would share in case anyone else is having one of those days.

And this is Your world, You made it
And all of creation is breathing because You sustain it
Jesus, by Your powerful word, You spoke out the earth and the heavens

So I will not worry or fret
My God is the God who will never forget
All of His goodness and all of His promises
He's holding my world in His hands

And these are your days, You give them
All for your fame and all for Your glorious kingdom
Jesus, You have ordained all things to dwell in Your purpose

So I will not worry or fret
My God is the God who will never forget
All of His goodness and all of His promises
He's holding my world in His hands

And I am Your child, Beloved
And all of my days my future is laid in Your promise
Jesus, to the end of the age, I am not alone of forgotten

So I will not worry or fret
My God is the God who will never forget
All of His goodness and all of His promises
He's holding my world

So I will not worry or fret
My God is the God who will never forget
All of His goodness and all of His promises
He's holding my world in His hands

  2. Sorry to hear you had a bad day. I haven't been sleeping well down here, but heading back home tomorrow. Got to see your cousin Hillari play basketball tonight in San Antonio, so that was fun. See you this weekend, hopefully? Love you. (by the way, you don't need to post this comment, just writing to tell you I love you.)
